Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add yogurt and knead into a soft dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours.
- In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil or ghee and sauté the finely chopped onions until they turn translucent.
- Add green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala to the pan. Stir-fry the spices for a minute.
- Add the minced meat to the pan and cook until it’s well browned and cooked through. Add salt to taste. Mix in the chopped coriander leaves and let the filling cool down.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) or use a tandoor if available.
- Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each ball and place a generous spoonful of the meat filling in the center. Seal the edges of the dough and roll it gently into an oval-shaped naan.
- Place the prepared naan on a greased baking sheet or a hot tandoor and cook until it’s golden brown and puffed up. If using a tandoor, brush some ghee or butter on top for a delicious glaze.
- Serve the Keema Naan hot with your favorite chutney or raita.
